ACCESS TO THE MADELEINE TRIATHLON
Here are some guidelines to get to Saint-François-Longchamp, base of the Madeleine Triathlon.
BY TRAIN / BUS
The nearest train station to Saint-François-Longchamp is the station of Saint-Avre-La-Chambre. It is accessible by TER (regional train) via the TGV station of Chambéry. See the timetable and rates on SNCF-connect.
Once at the Saint-Avre-La-Chambre station, a shuttle bus runs to the Saint-François-Longchamp station (La Lauzière stop). See timetable. Please note that reservations for this shuttle must be made the day before midday, online here or by calling +339 70 83 90 73.
BY CAR
From Lyon / Chambéry / Grenoble / Genève:
- Highway A43 to TURIN-MILAN
- Exit 26 “La Chambre”
From Italy / Briançon / Fréjus tunnel:
- Highway A43 to LYON-CHAMBÉRY
- Exit 26 “La Chambre”
As soon as you leave the highway, follow Col de la Madeleine and Saint-François-Longchamp. Follow the RD213 for 15,5k until Saint-François-Longchamp 1650.
Arriving to the resort, 400m after the panel “LONGCHAMP 1650“, take a left on the Madeleine’s place to “Pré Villot / Plan Mollaret“. The parking lot will be 400m farther, on your left.
