Stuff Check & Change room
A bag deposit service is available for all runners of the Madeleine Triathlon, whatever the distance. Find all the information you need to take advantage of this service below:
Since the bike course is not a loop, this triathlon features two separate transition areas :
- First, athletes will use the “LOW” bike park located in Saint-Rémy-de-Maurienne (T1).
- Then, they will reach the “HIGH” bike park in Saint-François-Longchamp (T2).
RUNNING STUFF DEPOSIT
For Distance L-3400, athletes must deposit their running equipment in the “HIGH” Bike Park (T2) on Friday between 3:00 pm and 7:30 pm.
For Distance M-2200, athletes may drop off their running equipment in the “HIGH” Bike Park (T2) on Friday between 3:00 pm and 7:30 pm or on Saturday between 7:00 am and 8:00 am.
For Distance S-1200, athletes may drop off their running equipment in the “HIGH” Bike Park (T2) on Friday between 3:00 pm and 7:30 pm or on Saturday between 7:00 am and 9:00 am.
Finally, depending on the weather, remember to protect your belongings from rain and dew to avoid finding your equipment wet.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR SWIMMING STUFF
The organizers will distribute to runners (in their race number envelope) a large drawstring bag bearing the Madeleine Triathlon colors and numbered with their race number. During the 1st transition (T1) after the swim, all runners must :
- First, put all their swimming and pre-race gear in this numbered bag.
- Close the bag with the cords.
- Then place the bag in the numbered pallet box corresponding to their bib number. These boxes will be placed at the exit of the Parc à Vélo, numbered as follows : 0-75 // 76-150 // 151-225…
The organisation will be in charge of taking those stuff to the finish line, but will only take the stuff with the right conditioning. You will be able to pick up your stuff after the race at the transition area at Saint-François-Longchamp, close to the balneotherapy center.
PICKING UP OF YOUR BIKE AND YOUR BIKE STUFF
You will be able to have your bike stuff back in T2 from the moment when the last racer finishes his bike part (4:30 pm until 7:15 pm).
IMPORTANT: for obvious reasons of stealing and confusing, you will HAVE TO be in possession of your bib or bracelet to pick up your bike.
Change room / Shower / TOILETS
Swim start area at Saint-Rémy-de-Maurienne:
You will be able to use the toilets located on the parking lot.
To fill up your bottle, a water point is available on the parking lot, as well as the snack and the camping toilets.
Finish area at Saint François Longchamp 1650:
Access to the spa showers will be granted upon presentation of your race bib, which serves as proof of entry to the runners’ area. Please note that wearing a swimsuit is mandatory, as nudity is not allowed in the shower area.
